 • 628 AD - Siddhis reach Bharuch port

• 7th Century - Slave importing by Arabs

•13 th century - Slave importing by Deccan empires

• 16-19th century - Portugal influx

• 1606-  certain siddis in power

( Prominently, Malik Ambar and Ikhlas Khan)

• 1686 - fall of Deccan sultanate, hence fall in siddi people of power

• next few centuries, Siddhis flee to forests to escape slavery and live an isolated lifestyle

• 1986- Introduction of SAG

•1992 - SAG comes to a halt

• 2014 - Resurrection of SAG
